[ I spend four hours of work trying to get Javascript to do what really seems like should be a simple thing. ]
Me: That's enough. I'm going to do some programming for fun, for myself, in a language that's all simple little playthings and that doesn't give me any stupid mysterious errors, today.
[ I spend an hour trying to get Lua/Love to do anything show a window reading 'No Game' or crashing on startup. ]
@Austin_Dern I've got assembly for when I want to program without fighting the language I'm programming in, but I guess in return that makes the opportunities to fight against the logic of my program being wrong bigger
@NovaSquirrel I'm not so bothered by the problems of logic as I am bothered by stupid nagging problems. Like, my Lua/love thing got solved by updating my version of love since I guess(?) when I upgraded the Mac OS X the old version stopped working quite right? In any case the problem is gone now, at least for now.
