It's great having stuff to be really passionate about, but not as great not really having any people to share that passion with

Probably the best thing to do is to just continue to be visibly passionate and hope that attracts in someone else, like I already do

As a platformer squirrel I think "jump with me, grab coins with me" is something I would actually say to someone I liked

Before I made Maffi I had some desires now and then to explore things as a regular person rather than as royalty, but didn't want to change Nova, so it's nice to have an outlet for that in a separate character

The best part of being a squirrel is definitely having such a wonderful and fluffy tail

Part of me wants to try to revive IRC due to nostalgia, but if I'm going to do that sort of thing, I might as well focus my efforts into my own platform instead

Being able to accurately throw a projectile into a given location sure helps for being lazy and avoiding walking. Maybe I'm amused by airborne jeans too.

Practicing side-view perspective, and most of the hard part seems to be making sure the curve from the face to the muzzle is just right

I'm practicing drawing from a side-view perspective and it's really challenging, primarily because of muzzles

Using AmigaOS makes me feel like someone who doesn't know how to use a computer again, or like I'm in some alternate universe

I'm very surprised this wasn't the very first thing I did after getting an Amiga emulator set up

I should practice drawing side-view perspective stuff on paper. Shouldn't be too bad especially because side-view is like nearly all my pixel art work. I also feel like I've gotta just intentionally explore how I want to draw anthro heads. I think what might be a defining aspect of styles I like is just a focus on large, expressive eyes, so I'd try that primarily.

I implemented IP bans. They can automatically expire and the expiration comes into effect when the affected person tries to connect. For IPv4 you can do wildcards if you want to ban a range; IPv6 shouldn't break anything but my VPS doesn't even have access to it.

Hopefully I never even have to use any of this. :p

I'm finally working on improving the moderation tools/abuse protection in Tilemap Town, starting with actually implementing IP bans.

Next, maybe actually have some rate limiting on -anything- at all? There's currently nothing stopping someone from sending you 100 mails either.

I'd really like to make more friends that are interested in 80s/90s furry/furry adjacent things and who will watch cartoons and cartoon animal movies with me.

Ideally I'd want a community for that but my attempt at starting one didn't seem to go anywhere and I dunno what you'd search for to find one.

With how oddly important YouTube Poop was in my childhood, I'm glad it's still going and people are still making them

Fortunately for old computer OS news I was able to find and boot the Windows 98 virtual machine I'd created years ago

I got the urge to try and set up Amiga emulation again but I think it's going to require either a lot more patience or me somehow finding my old setup. I went digging around in an old drive but couldn't find it, though I did find my Kickstart ROMs. Can't find Workbench though.

I finished up reading the new pages of Sabrina Online so I guess now it's back to read the older ones again. I really like the comic.
