I'm gonna try and experiment and really flesh out my mouse character more because I wanna get art of her. Probably do some experimental doodles with a focus on hair styles and personality.
Also unsure what she should wear but purple still makes a lot of sense. I have an idea in my mind of like a T-shirt with the Super Famicom logo on it too. Or some other graphic.
https://novasquirrel.itch.io/nova-the-squirrel/devlog/75278/build-1382 I pushed out some changes I'd been sitting on, fixing stuff that'd been bugging me.
I guess I do need to actually commit to a final version eventually for a cartridge release. Maybe aim for the anniversary of the game's full release last June?
Spent today creating a few animation sets for one of the characters of the pixel stuff I showed a good while ago. I now have 2 idles, run, jump, swing as well as 3 others tangential ones.
It's a bit much to all show here I think, what with 8 sets, but I'm hoping with that I can maybe finally start to dabble & experiment a little with game maker. Will need a lot more work done before it'll turn into an actual game, but I got enough to maybe build some confidence with.

Tweaked the walk animation I'm working on a little bit to have more sleeve movement and to reduce the amount of time kept at the idle state. #pixelart
I've got a picture in my mind of what a perfect "home community" would look like and I definitely think it would be somewhere that emphasized cuteness; I did that myself when I attempted to make that sort of community on Telegram, though private. Fluffy, adorable, cheery nice things.
I really want to get a picture of Maffi now that I have my first paycheck and I'm going to have to figure out what artist to go with. If anyone has any recommendations for that I'd love to hear them.
One thing I need to figure out is what her hair style should look like. I messed around with a fursona maker to decide colors and such, and I think what I picked out looks alright but it'd be nice to have a second opinion. (Also included my own attempts at copying it)
https://forums.nesdev.com/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=18658 the initial release of the SNES sequel to what I consider to be the best NES emulator (especially for development) was released today! Not a prank, it's been in development for weeks.
I'm a pretty squirrel princess who dabbles in roleplay, game development, retro game consoles, pixel art, and a variety of computery things.
