The picture I commissioned of Maffi is done!!! It looks amazing and I'm really glad to have better art of her now.
It works now. I was storing the wrong register when I meant to store the accumulator, and it was a copy and paste issue. I have a directory of graphic files in the ROM now, where I can specify one to upload. Now I have to make some mechanism for uploading palettes. Maybe that calls for a separate list.
Food
That fixed it! I think the mustard is actually very important so I'll probably spread it around more to ensure every bite has some.
I think roast beef on its own is kinda a bit much so you've gotta fix it up with some more flavors, and mustard is pretty strong.
I implemented password hash salting in Tilemap Town, with the ability to handle the old unsalted passwords and just upgrade them when the user changes their password next.
Sometimes I wonder why I'm bothering with backwards compatibility when there's almost certainly no other instances of the server aside from mine. There's still active code that runs upon database creation for converting the maps and users from a bunch of JSON files to a relational database, even.
I guess when I get home today I'll try to draw this bigger somehow, either on paper or just a bigger canvas. Maybe try a side view? That's a big maybe because they're tricky!
Another big thing to figure out is going to be personality since it influences things like poses and expressions. I think while Nova especially focuses on my social side, Maffi probably represents the side of me that needs time to myself now and then to just -create- and she might be a bit more introverted or shy.
Food photo, cooking
It's good! I have a bunch more sausage left over though so I have to either bake more pizzas or devise some use for them. Maybe they work as meatballs for pasta?
I'm a pretty squirrel princess who dabbles in roleplay, game development, retro game consoles, pixel art, and a variety of computery things.
