im getting somewhere with this "blurring only some objects" thing, and so far i havent actually had to write any shaders, AND things are starting to make more sense

im learning,

on the plus side im finally learning about shaders,

who'd have guessed trying to apply gaussian blur to a single object in a 3d scene is really fucking hard

also its 2018 why are u still using a horrendously out of tune music box type setup. just get a cheap mp3 player & mini amp and throw that mechanical setup and its hell sounds in the trash where they belong

fuck i just got spooked by my own game

i added a bunch more doorways to my door tunnel but forgot to move the trigger that closes the doors behind the player so when i tested it i suddenly got trapped halfway down this thing,

just had to resize doorways then edit every single scene in my game to reposition em cos their original size made em a pain to work with when combining several rooms in one scene

i really gotta start working this stuff out before i start cranking out content,

got turned down for a job before even finishing the form 🙃

wow someone forked my tweego + sugarcube 2 syntax highlighting plugin for vim and added a whole load of extra functionality to it

maybe i should ask em to submit a pull request,
