also xf86-video-intel hasnt had a new release in over 3 years, which isnt great,

it *looks* like firefox hasn't used gstreamer in a couple years so i guess it was the intel driver that fixed it after all... still tho, the mystery of why the modesetting driver was causing kernel panics remains unsolved and it's honestly kinda irritating

oh yea i think i fixed my kernel panic problems but i cant, actually tell how? i think it was cos i installed the intel graphics drivers? but there was a gstreamer plugin update that i installed at the same time? but also i dont know if gstreamer is even involved in firefox's video playback??
