i mean i guess i can just set retroarch to use sdl2 but the project seems to recommend using udev, and i dont see any reason that defining a controller mapping as an environment variable would break it?

(im setting $SDL_GAMECONTROLLERCONFIG specifically so unity games will work with my dualshock 2, as they don't seem to include any kind of autoconfig)

my game is finally starting to behave like a game!

it's a cross between minesweeper and an infinite runner, i started it for a game jam but didn't get it into a playable state before the deadline, still workin on it tho cos i feel like it has potential

i should probably be more concerned about the fact that every single file for this game is currently in the same directory,

it's not even a huge thing this time, i have a grid populated with tiles and i need to give the tiles knowledge of the grid so they know where the player is, but it still feels off somehow

well after some poking around i've found that easyrpg's editor is not fit for use yet, and since the devs are currently focused on the easyrpg player it looks like it won't be for some time
