we got 3/4 of the way into symphogear g and damn they really laid on the twists and turns in this season huh

im at work and there are supposed to be ~150 students in this lab today

after flickering for the last couple days, the corner of my monitor has now gone dim

should probably start thinking about getting a new one.... maybe even one that's an actual monitor and not just a tv

i mean fuck knows i have enough patches, badges and spikes lying around for it

anyway i should start checking places for cheap denim jackets cos now i've got more experience in adjusting em i'd kinda like to make a battle jacket

like the fit's definitely a lot better now, and more consistent (it was originally really loose all thru the shoulders and arms despite being form-fitting in the body) but i still get that feeling like maybe i could've done better? ugh idk

i should've took pics of my jacket before each adjustment i made just so i could look at em every time i worry that i made the fit worse and be like "nah its better now"

well my arms are scratched to shit but my denim jacket looks like it fits better now

still can't wear it done up (if anything it squashes my boobs even more now) but i think i'm just gonna give up on ever trying to wear it fully closed

i showed this to some folks on discord and now they want me to make it an actual item in the game.... i die

ugh i have a rash on my wrist again, starting to suspect the cool wristband i bought at sparkle isnt really nickel free

to elaborate, rmmv draws text a completely different way to sprites, and sprites have a rotate function already, so the Bitmap extension i wrote will be useless

unless i release this as a plugin, which i might,

the best part of having spent 5 hours figuring out how to rotate text is that it's just placeholder text that i'll probably swap out for images once i get the gameplay how i want it

ok i thought i'd found an existing function that calculated the height of a font but then i checked the code and uh, well,
