im also designing with the number of sprites and animations i'll have to make in mind from the start so like. idk i feel like that's gonna pay off when i start making assets
i mean. it's honestly a pretty simple game mechanically, just some grid-based movement stuff - the only complexity i can think of that i've never done before is parenting actors to one another and swapping player control between em but i think i have a good approach in mind
ouughhh now im really freakin out about this for some reason, hopefully once i get the core mechanics down i'll chill out about it
the upshot of this "festivalisation" of the big stages is that the bit that's actually in the village still, ie. the only part i ever gave a shit about, is now half the price it was last year
i mean i still think the whole thing should be free but hey i guess i gotta take what i can get
