PSA for friends: Personal boundaries, touch
I find touch hard. I struggle with body language, don't like strangers touching me, and am very paranoid of crossing boundaries.
But, I really like touch, and feel a lot of starvation. Because of the above, even with overtly/openly affectionate people i feel extremely paranoid, and default to keeping distance.
Things that really help: Clear permission ("You can sit with me", "we can snuggle", etc.), or taking the lead if you know me well.
