This little computer board arrived. It contains a dual-core RISC-V core, audio processor for 8-channel audio beamforming, a neural net accelerator which can do 60FPS image recognition, an FPU and some other neat stuff. It runs MicroPython so just plug in to any computer and play.

Failed 3D print but i think I’ll just put a doll’s Santa Hat on him.

So I have 20 motorized halogen stage lights formerly part of Pebble Beach Pro-AM when they replaced them with Clay Paky ZCL-360i with nifty full RGB LEDs and ethernet. Now to just figure what to do with them.

Just got this Monoprice I3 for $100 on eBay, my 5th printer and a several gens upgrade from my 1st, Monoprice Mini. These are amazingly rugged small 3D printers but not quite portable.

For portability, I also bought 2 Micro 3D printers $60 apiece on eBay which can be easily carried around, even run off 5v and stow filament under bed or can load externally. Will come in handy when I’m setting up tech at the observatory and need a special part or enclosure.

Someone selling this PC off the back of a truck, says it will run the latest Firefox just fine. Good deal?

My internet just got a 100x boost, gigabit cable via Spectrum! Now my EdgeRouter is the unable to keep up. CPU was pegging at 280mbps due to packet stats, turned off and now managing 466mbps. Did tons of research and decided on Synology RT2600AC which arrives next week.

Odd this router is so high in demand but not available anywhere but online.
