I've never felt comfortable with this stupid day. Every year it gets more gratuitous and less relevant. And of course we also have to deal with two blatantly unappealing presidential candidates using YouTube ads like an elementary schooler passes notes in class. I mean, for fuck's sake. This country hasn't done jack shit for me in my 20+ years of being alive. And every goddamn year we spend like five full days jacking off over dead people. It's fucking sick.

I hate this place. Never in my life have I hated this place more. Imagine being born in a puddle of other people's blood and then sitting in it for 20 years. That's what our lives are. Raised off of unspoken bloodsport, coddled by the fetishization of the dead.
