It has just the right mix of SoTN and Chrono Trigger to feel familiar while still bringing a lot of new ideas to the table. The game is juuuust long enough to feel like a big adventure, but short enough to be really tight and accessible.
My only complaint is that there are a couple of "puzzles" that don't have any obvious solution, and inversely some areas that feel like puzzles when they actually require new movement upgrades.
I used time stop and a single friend enemy to painstakingly scale the entire eastern tower of Castle Lachiem, but could figure out that you had to burn the vines in the PAST to get them to disappear in the future.
