@mavica For some reason people think that you can "cancel out" the stigma of being trans and the stigma of being gay by just... not transitioning? It's very weird. I had a coworker once ask me the same thing. :/

This experience gets more hilarious the less your identity is in the public eye. Introduce yourself as a lesbian? Most people nowadays will nod along. A nonbinary lesbian? Depending on who it is they might have a few questions.

If I come out of the gate with "plural genderqueer non-op pansexual-lesbian furry witch," I get the IMMENSE pleasure of hearing the dial-up noise playing on loop as the rando goes on a brain spelunking trip to figure out what the fuck I just said

Always fun to step out of the "queer hypercube" of vibing out online. I ran into a person a couple of years back who didn't understand what a lesbian was. Wild.
