I've literally had a friend say "Hey this is a cool-looking board game but I only want to play board games that I already know how to play." :/
It's like experiencing the overarching time pressure of the ACT but in time loop form. Not good for anxiety
How are you supposed to feel when a dream truly, genuinely means something to you? When it gives you a feeling that you hold close to your heart for weeks afterwards? It can't just be meaningless— I've already experienced the meaning.
@EeveeEuphoria no... I'm not strong enough....
This is a generalization obviously. FFXIV has a ton of low-level grind mechanics that I could enjoy without ever touching raids. And there are plenty of games that offer raiding gameplay without the pressure of other people. But it's also... different somehow, in a way I can't explain.
Look, I either want high-level tests of mechanical knowledge and skill where I get to grind it out by myself, OR I want low-level vibing out that I can experience with other people without feeling pressured. And I somehow never manage to find either.
