It's extra frustrating because Rimworld is just a poorly optimized game to begin with. If they would just let me use my EIGHT CPU CORES then maybe I would be able to play the game at a stable framerate!
For some reason Rimworld 1.1 is a lot laggier than Rimworld 1.0? I used to be able to run full speed with like 10 colonists and a massive modlist— now, even with a really small modlist, the base three colonists can knock me down to 40 fps.

fighting over what 'queer' means accomplishes nothing. I grew up knowing a definition of 'queer' which encompassed asexuality, and others have grown up with a definition that didn't; but if the definitions of worda aren't inherently important
and they aren't
then our definitions shouldn't bar us from organizing around our shared struggles and being in solidarity around un-shared struggles.

Because when the big guns say the game ships friday, the game. ships. friday. And suddenly not doing your job well is the only way you get to keep your job. Because your boss is under pressure from the publisher, and the publishers are under pressure from the market, and the market is ALWAYS under pressure.
And that's why your elder scrolls or fallout game isn't that good— not because of a single guy with a mic, but because it turns out that capitalism gives no shits about artistic vision.
