That is not true. We can feed up to 10bn people sustainably on the planet, we just have to reconfigure and rethink the global food system and global diets. The myth that there are too many people on the planet is a dangerous idea coming from a right-wing perspective on ecological theory, cf. Timothy Snyder and his work on e.g "Black Earth".
