@pinkyfloyd
The situation between Israel and Palestine is more complicated.
Ukraine did nothing, Russia invaded and is committing atrocities. That's very clear-cut.
Palestine and Israel have a decades long history of attacks on each other, alternately escalating and de-escalating over the years. It's much harder to point to the good guys and the bad guys, because there's some of each on both sides.
That doesn't even get into the whole quagmire of whether criticism of Israel is antisemitic.
@ScottSoCal @pinkyfloyd Palestinians did nothing either, the UN handed over half their homeland to european jews in 1948.
The strategy of the zionists since 1895 (sic) has been to rid Palestine of Palestinians.
The situation is not complicated evil colonizers are attacking the indigenous population.
The western nations unconditionally support their colony in the middle east.
The west hates Russia and loves the zionist state hence the hypocrisy in the response.
@atanu @pinkyfloyd
That's not even connected to reality, so there's no point discussing it with you.
@ScottSoCal @atanu i disagree. there are some valid points made.
what specifically do you believe is so outrageous that it's not even worth discussing?
this UN resolution seems to support their initial point

@ScottSoCal well i'm not going to get into any quagmires, no country is beyond criticism.
isn't there a treaty/agreement about the boundaries between Israel/Palestine, and the UN position is that Palestine should have some sort of statehood based on those established boundaries that (if i am not mistaken) were set in place decades ago?
