Well, Twitter won't let me log on to the Early Aotearoa NZ account as I can't get SMS code for the verification. Figure I will try out Mastodon as I get the feeling Twitter Support may not be quick to resolve the issue. Out of interest, now that people have been on Mastodon for a while what are your impressions of this platform - Good and bad:)

I never had a Twitter account, so take this for what it's worth. I looked at it a few times, but the noise-to-signal ratio just didn't work for me.
Mastodon doesn't feed me anything, it's all up to me. My feed is the people I've chosen to follow, and what they post and do. If one or more of them promote things I don't want to see, I can unfollow them, or block them, or only block the things they promote, leaving them untouched. Mastodon works for me.
