Don't release doves at your wedding. They have no idea how to survive in the wild, and they're attacked and killed by other birds, like crows.
This is Silly Bird. She was lucky, and my neighbor waded into a flock of Crows to save her. She would have been torn apart otherwise. She lived with me for 15 years, and she was sweet, gentle, and smart. She deserved better than to be tossed out because someone thought it would be pretty.
