I asked a co-worker if a particular prejudice of mine is sexist / racist. She didn't have an answer.

When I look for a doctor, I look for women or minorities - or both, in one package. It's harder for them to be accepted into a medical program, harder to stay in, harder to get a residency, and harder to get hired. Only the best and most dedicated make it The average woman/minority doctor just about has to be better than the average cis-white-male doctor.

Sounds like a certain kind of logical thinking, not a bias.

As a woman, i always try to have women medical professionals because they're more likely to listen and allow me to be actively involved in my own care. That's both in my life experience and in results of studies done about how men and women doctor different.
