I'm pretty sick and tired of the word "alarmist."

Our world is splitting at the seams. Fascism is here, the planet is hurtling toward climate catastrophe, inequality is higher than ever, bribery is legal, our water is being poisoned, and the government not only ignores our pleas but grows more oppressive by the day.

To be frank, the alarms should have been louder and gone off sooner. We should all be screaming out our windows.
