I just realized that today is the third anniversary of our first day in “quarantine” when my husband and I mostly just put on dumb outfits and got as weird as possible to kill time.

We lived in a tiny condo and our only outdoor space was our parking space, so we’d go have picnics in our parking space or use it to pretend like we were on vacation in Vegas to terrify our friends by making them think we were being super reckless.

We also bought a selfie stick to pretend like we were on vacation in our tiny apartment which is pretty much the only way I’d ever justify using a selfie stick.

I'm somewhat jealous (but not too much, because I never had to worry about income.) I work in what was defined as a "critical industry", so we never closed.
I did get two 14-day "work from remote" stints, before the vaccine and tests were available.

@ScottSoCal Yeah, we’ve both worked remote since the start of the pandemic and I’m really grateful for it. I know a lot of people haven’t been as fortunate.
