Not gonna lie, the newest step in the ongoing demonisation and scapegoating of trans people -- the reaction to this mass shooting in Nashville -- is deeply, deeply frightening. I'm so glad I don't live in the US but many innocent people do, and they are going to bear the brunt of this witch-hunt. I do not like where this goes.
The wackjobs are going on and on about 4 (1 of them imaginary) mass shootings in the last 2 decades committed by someone who might have been Trans, while they ignore the hundreds committed by not-Trans people.
Hey, you get a big enough sample population, you're gonna get a little bit of everything.

No, one of them definitely wasn't, one probably wasn't, the other two I'm not sure, but I don't see how it could possibly offset all the others.
@ScottSoCal Agreed! Actually as a percentage of all mass shootings trans people are still under-represented. (I can't believe that this is an actual conversation people are having)
Reality lapped satire several years ago. Poe's Law has never been more real.
Easy access to killing machines is the one area this in which the U.S. doesn't discriminate.
