Where's the evidence anyone is profiting? Covering costs is NOT the same as profit.
And yeah, wouldn't it be great if everyone could benefit from free, open discussion in an uncontrolled environment? Not everyone can, some people need a controlled environment to cope and open up. That takes resources.
