The number of Teslas parked at the vacant building near my work keeps going up. They now fill the parking lot, and they're parking them on the lawn. A mix of brand new and used. I'm at a complete loss why they're doing this, unless it's to create artificial scarcity at the dealerships.

They don't call them that, but if it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck...
@ScottSoCal It may not be artificial scarcity: Tesla's brand value tanked over the past six months (Musk shat the bed publicly *and* there's a lot of noise about autopilot not actually working) so possibly production significantly outstrips demand right now.
@ScottSoCal They also have a bunch parked in an old closed down mall lot near me where they regularly film the dystopian Zombie Walking Dead series. At first I thought it was strange, but now it seems quite normal.
