I’m feeling very disoriented today. But why? Oh, right. 4th grade ended Wed. ESY starts today. We needed a magical holiday yesterday; but not me, I still have to work. ESY schedule is totally different. But this is somehow good for the kids and their #ActuallyAutistc parents.
How? 🤣 imagine if corps ran this way. 🤣🤣 But it’s OK because it’s school. Why?? Who decided that?

A lot of them do, and not just for jobs that ask "Do you want fries with that?"
Hubs is an RN, and his schedule was all over the place, until they went to established shifts. His working hours and days off used to jump, every week. I couldn't have handled it.

@ScottSoCal Indeed! I think what I was thinking but didn’t have room to type, was that schools completely disregard the second and third order schedule impacts of their decisions, and act surprised when one raises concerns. So I like to turn it around and suggest they offer me their free times and I’ll fit them in instead. I just had to do this with NPS therapist. Ridiculous. @actuallyautistic
