@e_urq I don't agree with the LGBTQ folks scolding her for this. She has not harmed the trans community. What harms the trans community is the way any tiny little perceived transgression gets picked up and amplified by the far right media apparatus and the way the centrist media carries their water by reporting on it as a "controversy"
The far right is perfectly willing to make shit up. It doesn't matter if trans people are always model citizens. We're being accused of being groomers, ffs.

Count me on the side of people saying Rose is doing untold damage to the community.
Because of the fact that we are such a small segment of society, every person, regardless of whether they want to be or not, is an ambassador of the community.
Her outlandish behavior cast all of us in a poor light. Those in conservative circles will point to this and use it as an example. Our allies are now on defense because of this frankly juvenile stunt.

I'm not saying you're wrong, but I will ask you to consider the implications of what you're saying.
In the 1970s and 80s (yes, I'm that old) there were groups arguing we should keep "those" people out of our Pride marches. They were just looking and acting like freaks, and they were used by the media to paint us all with the same brush. It made things harder for us, the "normal" ones.
Part of "those" people were Trans men and women.

The problem isn’t who she is, or her beliefs; the problem is her behavior *at the White House*. The fascists didn't ban her from the White House, *Biden* did. Representing the community at the White House is not the same thing as a Pride parade. If she'd gone topless at Pride I wouldn't care. Representing a community is a responsibility.
