so in that SCOTUS case about the web designer that didn't want to make a website for a gay wedding, it came out that the person that was supposedly requesting the website (a guy named with identifying details) was contacted by the press and he said he never even asked anyone for a website, and he's already married to some lady anyhow.

like it's incredibly weird. I don't know how the details are gonna shake out but I guess we can just make up shit whole cloth now to tailor our impact litigation?

In the case about student loan debt, the states who brought the suit had no standing - they were not harmed in any way. So it isn't just evidence that doesn't matter anymore.
