Do what I did - marry someone who likes to shop for clothes. I haven't had to go clothes shopping for 30 years.

@ScottSoCal Ha! Same. My husband LOVES to shop. I hate it. Early on, we realized that was an easy division of labor!!

I found I can gently steer the direction of the look by buying a shirt or sweater for myself, about once a year. I usually do it online, so I can open the package in front of him. He takes the hint.
