The first blossoms on my Japanese rose (kerria japonica). The tag on this plant said it would grow to 4’x4’, and I imagined it would take some time to reach that size, but it’s already that big after one year and I think the tag lied to me. I’ll prune at the end of summer, after enjoying the flowers

20 years ago I bought a dwarf banana tree. The tagg said height wouldn't exceed 6'. The tag lied, and I have a grove of 9' tall banana trees.
