When did my #ActuallyAutistic comrades understand that they were autistic?
@theautisticcoach @actuallyautistic I came to the understanding about eleven months ago. A fellow synthesist, who is also openly autistic, shared an experience of hers that got me thinking. After weeks of reading, reflection, and engaging with others, I embraced autism as the best understanding I've ever had of myself and my behavior.
