I feel that a lot of those 'big companies are open to ND employees now!!!' headlines boil down to companies having a pilot after some manager thought 'hey, i saw a movie and now i think we should totally go find some brilliant&modest asperger kids to exploit'.
No follow-up, no attempt to change hiring practices that favorite extravert people.
Or they're looking to hire a token they can point to, when people ask about their hiring practices.
