Anyone who acts/reacts in relation to the MAGA cult, better check their locus of control. Being dependent on MAGAts' responses shows an unhealthy enthrallment to their every move and gesture, lacking independent thought and behavour.
Anyone who is calling Joe Biden "incompetent" is not on our side, the side of democracy.
@JaneDoeTheFirst @GottaLaff @AkaSci I will criticize Joe Biden, because I want the Democrats in general to do better and take this election seriously. I genuinely believe that a Trump victory would end the Republic and turn America into a dictatorship. That's WHY I criticize Biden. He needs to up his game, or step aside for someone that can beat Trump.
Indeed, if people have actionable criticisms of Biden, then Biden will be more likely to change his policies and gain popularity. We need to hold our guys accountable. That's the SPIRIT OF DEMOCRACY. The difference between the Democrats and the GOP is that the Democrats are a multi tendency big tent party that is capable of criticizing their leadership. We should cherish democracy and encourage debate/criticism instead of dismissing it as "helping Trump". We should cherish what differentiates the GOP and their opposition.
No, he doesn't. He has an incredible record to lean on, for the last 3.5 years. Lower inflation than most other countries, better economy than all other countries, lowest unemployment in decades, wage gains, prescription cost reductions.
Those accomplishments don't get wiped away by 90 minutes. They just need to be talked up.

You're painting with a very broad brush, and you're ignoring a lot of motivating factors.
And he's still not Trump.
@ScottSoCal : People don't actually vote based upon policy. Broadly speaking, they vote for the strongest monkey. Nixon lost an election based upon razor stubble. Biden won in 2020 because his name is 'Biden' (people had heard it before), and he wasn't Donald Trump. That isn't going to suffice today. Replacing Biden shouldn't be any more controversial than taking the car to the garage. Sure, we could blaze out into the open desert -- but we all hear the clanking and see the smoke.
