My only issue with that is blaming all of Israel for the actions of a conservative minority government that's leveraged itself into power.
Not all Israelis, just like not all of the USA.

@ScottSoCal @KarenawokeKaren This is aimed as much toward the IOC as the competing countries. At present, the government of Israel is still bombing Gaza, and the IDF is still shooting Palestinians. Israelis are stopping food and aid. That's the reality.
@ScottSoCal @KarenawokeKaren Israel as a nation state is guilty. Individual Israelis have varying degrees of guilt, from absolute to zero.
Just as the UK is guilty of supporting the genocide, while many British people (Ahem!) are as distanced from the evils perpetrated by their government as is humanly possible.

Yes, but part of the tragedy, and according to Gideon Levy, who writes regularly for Haraatz, most Israelis are racist and support the genocide. There will be no 2 state solution, Knesset just recently voted that political solution to death. The world must care about what is happening to the Palestinians in the meantime.
