Well, I won’t be worth a damn the rest of the day; received in the mail today a sympathy card from the staff of the veterinarian’s office with ink impressions of Jagger’s paw prints. The photo of Jagger is from one morning in 2015 when he came over as if to say “Hi! Can we go for the morning walk now?” as I was getting my shoes on to start the day.

I'm sorry, it's always so hard.
The paw-print did me in, too. Ours came laser-etched on a wood plague, and I could see the imprint of Little Man's chipped nail. I guess they did a 3D scan before cremation.
