Saw Johnny Mnemonic for the first time last night. I don't get why that movie was hated by critics. The style is really cool and even that aside the film is ok. It's not great and has writing problems but hardly an awful film.
@fillertrack johnny mnemonic is one of my favorite films and it's made all the worse knowing that William Gibson worked with the script-writer to make it an action-comedy and because Speed did so well the producers edited it into a straight action film.
the comedy that does shine through still is so perf though
