@ben @efi The Crew is an interesting case to me. It came out on December 2, 2014 and the servers were shut down on March 31st, 2024. That's over 9 years since release, with the shutdown announced 3 months prior.

There were barely any players remaining on the OG game's servers, likely because they moved on to one of the sequels: The Crew 2 in 2018 and Motorfest in 2023. Every online-only game is bound to end someday and not every game can work offline. The preservation would be nice, however.
