Found another ogre that I couldn't outrun because of a goblin in the way, but I managed to survive thanks to an amulet of invisibility and an amulet of fire immunity:3

In Brogue, I was surrounded by lava and 3 ogres who I definitely couldn't take on head to head, so I used a potion of fire immunity with the intention of running away through the lava. But the potion lasted long enough for me to safely poke the ogres to death from the lava with my +2 spear :D

I'm trying Omega Rebirth and I can actually get help (?) here

So far my favorite roguelikes are ADOM, Umoria and Brogue. I kinda forgot how to play Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup but I like ADOM feeling accessible in terms of controls with how it shows you recommended actions, a list of common actions and quick controls

How deep is this cave? It's like the second cave you can enter and I can't reach the bottom because i reach a point where the enemies are so overwhelming in numbers that going back up the stairs is basically impossible

I'm playing ADOM and I got really invested in a fight my dwarf paladin was having against a nest of giant ants (bloody hell they're hard to kill)
