All right, these opt-out, "new privacy settings" were the last straw, I'm dumping Chrome and returning to Firefox after a decade.

i've built my own minecraft classic server and then made it play bad apple

Hi, Big Corporation

Just wanted to let you know about a minor issue in your software. I think the option screen that offers me the choices:

[Set Up Now] [Remind Me Again in 3 Days]

is missing the third choice:

[Fuck Off Forever]

No biggie. There’s lots of space on the dialog to accommodate that third option, and it should be an easy fix. Thanks!

Cory Doctorow: "Mastodon is far from perfect. But I only have so many hours in the day, and only so many days left in my life. I would much rather spend those precious hours making a open service better than using a temporarily superior closed one. I have seen that movie. I know how it ends"

Created this a while ago and apparently never posted it on Mastodon, wat - well, here's one of the pieces I'm quite proud of, I'm usually not much of an artist, but GBC constraints are life!

Stop doing phones

Humans were not meant to be reachable 24/7

Years of calling yet no real-world use found for transmitting voices over distances

Wanted to reach someone anyway for a laugh? We already had that: It was called letters

"Yes, please call me at 3 am. Please spend hours with a strange device attached to your ear"β€”Statements dreamed up by the utterly deranged

They have played us for absolute fools
