First, Rydeen by Yellow Magic Orchestra, from 1979's Solid State Survivor.

Basically, YMO is the godfather of Japanese video game music, inspiring many, if not most, Japanese game musicians.
Track 5 of the album, Behind the Mask, was years later covered and given lyrics by Michael Jackson.

Second, Party in the CIA by "Weird Al" Yankovic. (Original song: Party In The U.S.A. by Miley Cyrus)

The most popular parody musician in the US, probably the world. Some musicians consider themselves to have "made it" in the industry when Weird Al parodies them.
Music video instead of album.

Third, Black Fire by DragonForce.

Featured as the artists of the superboss song (Through the Fire and Flames) in Guitar Hero III, I just love DragonForce. I chose Black Fire from Valley of the Damned specifically because, in part of it, they cover the opening music from the game Double Dragon.
(In case you didn't know yet, and I think I haven't yet made it that obvious on this instance, video games are a BIG thing with me.)

Fifth and last for now, Another Irish Drinking Song by Da Vinci's Notebook

I just love this a capella group, but they've since disbanded.
This song was used in Despicable Me 2, hiding adult humor right in plain sight, with the lyrics being about how everybody died, including an 80-year-old dying due to being REALLY turned on by his new, young wife.

Not yet, though I will soon. It's just that the internet connection I'm using is horrible.
@Terxbor Ah. I think you complained about that earlier today IIRC. It's a bit odd to me here that the US has such spotty internet in large places (or absent) while everyone has gone on building things expecting connections to be reliable.
Similar to how corporations and the government here are starting to require smartphones for a lot of stuff, as if everyone can afford one (even cheaper models are still expensive)
@BatElite Well, this isn't a national infrastructure thing. I'm using public Wi-Fi that's in another building than I am.
But yes, American national communications infrastructure sucks compared to a few other industrialized countries.
@Terxbor Gave everything a listen, maybe I'll have more to say later but for now:
Party at the C.I.A. I knew about already, and is pretty nice. Not very fond of Dragonforce myself, but I can think of a few more metal songs that are similarly busy for some other time. Games are a large thing for me too, so hey.
Not very fond of BNL (at least that song anyway), and I quite like the irish song. Might have to give that another listen later.
I take it you're going to sleep (or already have)?
