Lowkey worried a bit about being in Texas, just cause as an enby Californian you have... certain perceptions of the region, let's say. I'm going into things with an open mind though, and above all... I just wanna have fun. So. 💛

Hey. I used to live there (well, Texas, not Dallas). I won't say there aren't scary situations and a lot of unquestioned biases, but I do think if you're in Dallas with your friend you'll be just fine. I actually just got back from a trip to Austin myself, and I definitely ping more, ah, visibly queer than I did when I lived there.

@ThingQuail That's good to know, for sure. ^^ I figured more urban areas feel a lot more comfortable for this kinda thing than other parts of Texas, and things have been chill so far.
