@subrote@mastodon.lol not long after I came out, long before any medical transition, I met up with a friend who hadn’t seen me in person for a few years. She commented on how the way I walk had changed! Maybe there was some intentionality in it, but I remember still being surprised that it was noticeable enough to comment on.

* Random Black dudes the post on the internet 🙋🏿♂️
Instead of from their history text books?
Again folks will ask "Why was I not taught this in school?" And again, I will say, "You know why." Look at what DeSantis is doing. Look at what the Texas Board of Education has always done.
