Replicating a thread from the iHeart Podcast Union about layoffs iHeart did this week without negotiation or notification to the union, and with no heads up to the rest of the company (still.) This is from @iheartpodunion on twitter:

iHeart Union was shocked and dismayed to learn of the layoffs that took place on Feb 21. 1/ #union #layoffs

We are strongly opposed to this layoff, which has affected both union and non-union employees at iHeartPodcasts, some of whom have worked with us for several years. 2/ #union #layoffs #podcast

Management has not been transparent about the elimination of these positions, and as of close of business Wednesday there has still been no acknowledgement to the whole team that layoffs even occurred. 3/ #union #podcast @layoffs
