apple events are now just depressing to watch because they only make things for rich people and rich people have terrible taste and no imagination
again maybe this is just being in my late 30s but every one of these events feels like millions of dollars of production money spent to showcase billions of dollars of ever-more-powerful software and hardware all doing shit I don't want to do
@mark all the AR shit they showed was the most boring business-brain stuff possible, but that's going to entice the rich dipshits to be early adopters (because rich dipshits love to watch movies in a floating rectangle in their $5mil condos), which means they'll be financing the 2nd and 3rd revisions, by which point I'll be able to afford one and run software that will be literally life-changing for me
