After you read those, ask yourself why that bitter, spiteful, auto-excommunicated bully leading your church knows the Holy Bible less than a damned pagan trans girl at peace.
Quit mistaking hate for righteousness. Love *all* your neighbors, including your queer fellow Christians.
Quit mistaking vengeance for justice. We're not a threat to care and love.
Start being a neighbor to those among you who need one. We always have been and will be your neighbors.

(Also, yes, I own one of those books. I've actually read it cover to cover if only once, and it's very literally torn apart from decades of use as intended.)
