Buyer Beware: despite adamant claims to the contrary, this allegedly "hand drawn" and "expert verified" popular book by Hungry Minds appears to in fact be just a bunch of AI slop, containing entirely made up or nonsensical bullshit passed off as fact. I can forgive it not being fully accurate or informative as being intended for entertainment, but I can't forgive AI slop like this. @earthshine I spent days wondering how anyone would even find this waste of paper, let alone decide to buy it, but lo and behold they're buying YouTube sponsorships, and a channel I sometimes watched until now sold a slot.

@arielmt yeah that's how I found it too. Granted, I don't take sponsorships like that as a recommendation but I just happened to be interested in buying such a book and wanted to read through it to see how others approached the concept. I wasn't expecting it to be good, and could forgive a disappointing read even at that price since it looked to at least have a high quality print and binding... but a low effort AI slop grift? Now I'm genuinely mad that I got had.
