I can't tell you how many phone support calls were needlessly 15-30 minutes longer than they should've been because Microsoft, Apple, Google, & the GTK team all made the auto-hiding scrollbars so completely hidden from my customers that none of them knew their windows had any scrollbars at all.
@arielmt@computerfairi.es Idk who decided that scrollbars should be well-hidden or removed, but I hope they step on many Legos, bare-footed.
@maddy I blame Steve Ballmer more than anyone else. If he hadn't bonged an iPhone and seen Windows 8 in that high, no one else would've had an industry leader to imitate and copy.
