To be honest, I've kinda learned this idea of "Do not be too open about what you do and enjoy socially, because there is a risk that people will judge or oust you, or otherwise find reason to not associate with you any more" that makes me passively shut myself out of interacting with people or talking about my life on sites like this, and it's like...

It's unrealistic, that I should uphold myself to such a thing. But at the same time, it's really hard to pass that anxiety barrier.
