Spending mornings (and other times) constantly trying to push ? to do what needs to be done. "Go. Go. Go." Go take a shower. Stop reading Twitter. Go to bed already.

A futile? attempt, when met with "I know, I know"; like an alarm clock being snoozed forever.

@Knives this is called “executive dysfunction” and it is a symptom of depression, which is a chemically treatable disease. If you get her to do anything, get her to make an appointment with her GP to investigate treatment options.

@atinyfairy (thinking)

I didn't really think about it as being "executive dysfunction", which is something [we?] knew about before from reading ... ? thought about it a few times on their own, too

If it was as easy as getting ? to just make an appointment or going to a GP, I would have done that by now [?]; the problem is that even that feels all but impossible, especially given that [our?] GP is unavailable / delayed. The last appointment ? made took over two months to occur, and it wasn't worth it

@atinyfairy right. The GP tried to refer ? to a psychologist [?], but ? checked the reviews and they were almost all bad (?); and on top of that ? missed the appointment by accident, not realizing it was in the morning of one day until well after the time for it had passed.

[The mental load is too high, so things that take more energy are being put off?]
